Ezekiel Lawan "Graceboy"
Born on October 3, 1993, in Borno State, Nigeria, Ezekiel, popularly known as "Graceboy," is a multifaceted artist, music producer, graphic designer, and web designer. Hailing from Chibok Local Government Area, Ezekiel's early life was marked by frequent relocations due to his father's job (Clergy) transfers. He began his educational journey at EYN Yanuwa Nursery and Primary School, Moduganari, before completing his primary education at EYN Primary and Nursery School, Viniklang, Yola, Adamawa State.
Ezekiel's secondary education took place at EYN Comprehensive Secondary School (CSS Kwarhi), where he laid the foundation for his future academic pursuits. He later around 2017 enrolled at the University of Maiduguri, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in English in 2021.
Following his university education, Ezekiel participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Yobe State, successfully completing his service on October 15, 2024.
Music Career
Ezekiel's music journey began in 2017, when he launched his secular music career. However, a life-changing encounter with Christ on July 3, 2023, marked a significant turning point in his life and ministry. Since then, he has been diligently preparing himself for a gospel music ministry, awaiting God's official release to share his gift with the world.
As a skilled music producer, graphic designer, and web designer, Ezekiel brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to his craft. His music is a reflection of his personal experiences, faith, and passion for inspiring others. With a strong foundation in English literature and a keen sense of melody, Ezekiel's songs are poised to resonate with audiences from diverse backgrounds.
